Barrett Mann, DVM, CHPV is dedicated to providing hospice and palliative care for pets facing debilitation or terminal illnesses. A graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, she has advanced training in hospice and end-of-life care and is committed to helping families make informed, compassionate decisions. Dr. Mann takes a thoughtful, individualized approach to care, emphasizing comfort, dignity, and quality of life at every stage.
What We Do
Dr. Mann provides the following veterinary services, all in the comfort of home with robust appointment times and follow-up.
Palliative care- integrative treatment of pain and other symptoms to maximize quality of life regardless of disease outcome. Can be initiated at any time in the course of a disease process.
Hospice care- extension of palliative care focused on patients with terminal illness to support families and their pets towards the end of life.
End of life (EOL)-support of pet and family in days and hours leading up to euthanasia or supported natural death and providing euthanasia services in a comfortable environment.
Aftercare services- respectful handling, transport for cremation (if desired), and memorialization of a pet following death.
